... :'(

This bloke sounds like he needs cheering up... a lot. If I ever post anything like that, which I'm pretty sure I wouldn't, someone better give me a good slap around the face and a new career. Now I have a blog to read if I ever want to be very very scared.

I sponsor a Granney now!! Isn't that nice? She lives in Sri Lanka and is a Buddhist with 5 grandchildren.

Don't ask me where that poem came from, I don't even know. It just sorta spilled out! I quite like it though :) Un-emo enough for you Alex? Ok then, I'll make it up with a seriusly cute pic:

look at 'em *chokes up*

tuesday, isn't it?

Aparantly yesterday's poem was "emo"...

The doll lies still at the end of the bed,
Staring straight out of the window,
Her eyes bright blue and reflecting the red,
Arms splayed and legs akimbo.

"The sky is on fire" she says to herself,
"Oh crap I'm going to die"
Nearby toys arranged on a shelf
Let out a collective sigh.

"That's bollocks, you prat" says Mittens the Cat,
"Not happening, no way no how.
You're already dead you see, stuffed with pou pori,
And all I can say is meow."

Seeing the truth of this the doll went blank,
All thought draining from her.
Mittens the cat on the carpet sank,
And comfortably started to purr.

The weathermen in the know all fled,
Their bald spots starting to fry.
If at night the sky is red,
Its on fire and you're going to die

bah

Well another weekend where nothing happened, but that's my fault. Sitting here at work again, serving endless old people, I know that I can't wait for this job to end. It wouldn't be so bad if they actually gave me some work to do... that may sound odd, but it's true! Well it could be a lot worse really I know, but oh well. If I'm not careful I might decend to poetry soon...

We sat and talked 'till began a new day,
all of the time,
never not knowing quite what to say,
*please insert rhyme*

Then like a fool I said something rash,
friendship I did smother.
Now all I do is earn lots of cash,
*please insert another*

hehe that was fun, if not strictly true...

Was that... Mr Andrews???

Ok just sitting here at work listening to the KT Tunstall album on loop (FINE it might have got to unhealthy addiction stage) and who just wonders nonchelantly in??? Mr. fricking Andrews. Doesn't recognise me, walks straight out again. Wow. What a moment, I shall treasure it for a long time. My heart's still fluttering away, like it should be at such chance meetings with legends.

I suppose we'll run into him again in China. In some seedy sake bar. I goddman hope so, and it WILL happen even if we have to kidnap him and put him there.

Next episode of lost to download tonight! I really can't wait, the last two left the story hanging so madly.

...

Oh Andrews, where will you turn up next? Suggestions gratefully accepted.

About other stuff

Harry Potter!!!

Oh dear oh dear, i'm not going to say that the film wasn't worth seing... ok then I will... it wasn't really worth seeing. Hermione is the character that annoyes me the most at the moment because of the incredible cheesyness and overacting that she seems to generate so effortlessly. And Harry's not much better. :( i know they're trying their lil faces off but I think Daniel should get out more and Hermione-actress should stop trying so hard... and also get out more. Surprisingly, Ron improved a lot in this film! He was really actually quite good, with some quite normal expressions apearing compared with the frightening and unnatural contortions of yester-films.

As usual, the adult acting was brillint but there's so much less of it than there should be. The special effects seem to take up most of it, with a terrible dragon fight scene drawn out for way too long. And most of the jokes fell flat on their collective bum. Ah well, I suppose it could have been worse,

(what did the grape say when it got trodden on? It gave out a little wine buduboom chhh)

Lost!!!

Well you'd kill me if I wrote this up at all... just keep goddamn watching

The Weather!!!

... cold. I've got the stumps to prove it. (C'mon snow, you know you want to!)

The Monnies!!!

Rolling in

The Candles!!!

Very nice and aromatic, but a flooded market means that they're not selling. Boats are doing well.

The Puns!!!

Subsiding, thankfully, but one slips by every now and again.

The Davis!!!

My local pool/snooker place was recently demolished. Something to so with me joining, I suspect. Sods law applicable.

The Cricket!!!

On Sky. Bastards. Probably wouldn't watch it anyway to be honest.

The Bike Couriers!!!

One just walked in with a mohawk, very aerodynamic. Goes with the army trousers. They all seem to have a good time, fatality rate isn't too atractive though... mmm london cab drivers.

The Music!!!

The music?

Ok then, The Endless Adverts!!!

Virgin radio. Well it does play KT Tunstall a lot... shush, it's not an unhealthy obsession just yet.

Bigish Update

Hello, sorry I haven't updated much, I've been quite busy, lots has happened!! Well actually I tell a lie, I got a job and that's about it and I've already told you about that. Oh and I paid for the flights of my trip. Woo.

Well the job is in a small shop on the 5th floor of an office block, so lots of passing trade then... well they keep me occupied when there's no customers, with the likes of putting leaflets into envelopes or putting questionnaires into a spreadsheet. There is noone else my age here ever. After my entire life spent all day with people I can usually talk to this is very odd and kinda depressing. Upsides: pay, and the toilets. There's one with what i can only think of as an airlock before you can get in and two locks, the most secure loo i have ever come across, and one with a beday plumbed in so that the water comes out of the overflow. Very decorative.

A day spent with Alex made me realise that I've completely forgotten how to talk with my mouth, if I ever knew. It just sorta comes out with "pwoo" "dooobedoobdoobdoo" or something similar. When we go on the trip, Alex, we're going out and doing stuff whether we like it or not. Especially where we speak the language. But ESPECIALLY where we don't.

Whe you come back from uni for christmas, you may find a dribbling crazed version of me, i'm not sure becauase i can't see me from the outside.

working

Well it's been too long, and I promise to update properly soon, but suffice to say i'm sitting in a "proper" job now... finally... and all is well in the world! I am sitting typing in data from questionnaires. Dull you say? Not so says a certain Mrs Assmann! Childish though it may be, that is a name to be jealous of.
